Practice Round Notice:

From June 1st – 12th, 2013 all Vancouver Open competitors will be offered the regular posted twilight rate at each of the 3 Vancouver Parks Golf Courses two hours before the posted
Twilight time. Players are to call the respective golf shops to book their practice times and make payment directly to the Pro-shop. Contestants are asked to print their Vancouver Open confirmation of entry email and bring to the Pro-shop when checking in to verify they are playing in the 2013 SAPUTO Vancouver Open.

36-HOLE CUT:

PROFESSIONALS:
Top 33% of Pros and ties make the 36-hole cut (52 pros + ties will make the cut if there is a full field of 156 pros)

AMATEURS:
Approximately the top 50% of Amateurs (including ties) in each flight will make the cut to play the final round (Gross scores in Championship & Senior Flight (55 yrs plus); A combination of the top Gross & Net scores in Flight A & B will be used to determine 50% of the field making the cut in Flight A and B. We will alternate between top Gross and Net scores to determine the number that gets the closest to 50% of the total of Flight A & Flight B field playing in the final round.

EXEMPTION LIST - PROFESSIONALS:

The following players receive exemptions into the field, and will have their entries secured until the May 18th, 2013. All exempt players must confirm entry fee payment by 6pm PST on May 18th for their entries to be confirmed. After such a time, the field will be open to those players who have registered with payment on a first come, first paid basis.

Category 2: Top 20 Professionals on the 2012 VGT Order of Merit not already exempt
Category 3: Professionals making cut in 2012 Vancouver Open not already exempt in Categories
1 or 2 (Maximum is 14)

Category 5: Top 10 VGT Professionals on the '13 Order of Merit as of May 1st not already

Category 6: Top 60 Professionals on the 2012 PGA TOUR Canada Order of Merit not already

Any exemption positions not being filled with paid entry at 6pm PST on May 18th will be released to any non-exempt players who have registered with payment. Entries will be taken in priority sequence of payment being received.

Eligibility

Open to 156 Amateurs with RCGA Factor 18.0 or less as follows:

*The first 48 paid Amateurs 5.0 handicap factor or less
*The first 36 paid entries for Amateurs 5.1 to 10.0 handicap factor
*The first 36 paid entries for Amateurs 10.1 to 18.0 handicap factor
*The first 36 paid Senior (55 years +) entries

If at the registration deadline there are openings in any of the above handicap


Full Field: 312 golfers (156 pros; 156 amateurs).

Pro Purse: $100,000* 1st Place: $16,000*

Amateur Purse: $25,000 in Prizing*
